Today, 20 years after Rentrak debuted the revolutionary Pay-Per-Transaction® (PPT) revenue sharing system, many content providers participate in direct revenue sharing relationships with their largest customers (commonly both regional and national retail/rental chains). However, due to the sheer scope and numbers involved in these direct leasing relationships, along with the complexity of the products themselves, differences in expected activity versus actual activity often occur, leaving the possibility for definitive results for both content providers and retailers to go unknown.
This is where RevShare Essentials comes in. Rentrak's studio direct revenue sharing (DRS) system, RevShare Essentials grants content providers constant, clear feedback and data, plus valuable checks and balances on how both their products and retailers are performing.
RevShare Essentials simplifies the information retrieval process for content providers by giving them access to an independent, third-party source of inventory tracking while also delivering comprehensive views of daily, weekly and historical data directly to each client's desktop. Furthermore, Rentrak distills complex distribution channels and marketplaces into easy to understand and timely detail, all of which can be applied to inform and enhance profitable action.
From in-depth inventory tracking, to meticulous data collection, validation and recovery, RevShare Essentials provides comprehensive analysis and reports in multiple formats.
