Mr. Rosenthal has been a Research Analyst for WRH Partners II, L.L.C. and its affiliates ("WRH") since 2002. William R. Huff, a principal of WRH, is the beneficial owner of 6.8 percent of Rentrak’s outstanding stock.
Mr. Rosenthal also serves on the boards of directors of various private companies and is an adviser to the Board of Directors of Park City Group (NASDAQ: PCYG). Prior to 2002, Mr. Rosenthal served as Director of Mergers & Acquisitions for RSL Communications Ltd. from 1997 to 2001. Prior to joining RSL, Mr. Rosenthal served emerging media companies for Deloitte & Touche LLP from 1993 to 1997. Mr. Rosenthal is a Certified Public Accountant.
He has served as a director of Rentrak since August 2008. He became Vice Chairman of Rentrak’s Board of Directors in September 2010 and was selected to serve as Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors upon his re-election in 2011.
Rosenthal is also Chair of the Audit Committee. The Board has nominated Mr. Rosenthal to serve as a director and selected him to serve as Non-Executive Chairman of the Board of Directors upon his re-election in light of his financial expertise and experience in the media industry.
Bill Livek has been in the business of measuring consumer behavior for more than three decades.
As Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer at Rentrak, his passion for understanding what the movie and TV industries need to run their businesses more efficiently and effectively spurs him to be a driving force for innovation in audience measurement.
Bill says his mission at Rentrak is to help invent the next generation products clients need to precisely measure movies and TV everywhere and help make client businesses more profitable.

Bill draws upon his industry experience and audience measurement expertise as a frequent speaker at advertising industry events.
He has served as Co-Chair/Co-Owner of Simmons Market Research Bureau, Co-Founder of Transactional Data Solutions (an LLC with MasterCard), and was a principal shareholder in Birch Research, which was later integrated into Scarborough Research, where he served as President and CEO. Prior to Rentrak, Bill served in a number of roles at Experian including as Co-President of Experian Research Services and as Vice President of Sales/Marketing for Arbitron (now owned by Nielsen).
When he’s not busy overseeing the day-to-day management of the company or on the road growing Rentrak’s movies and TV everywhere businesses, Bill loves riding his road bicycle about 100 miles a week. His idea of a great vacation is a scenic, weeklong bike trip.
Dave Boylan has 40 years of local television experience. In that time, he achieved a successful track record as a television General Manager for 27 years in four different markets. He was the VP/GM of the Washington Post owned ABC affiliate in Miami and the Fox owned stations in Los Angeles, Tampa and Greensboro.
He has also been a leader on issues in the industry. He served as the Board Chair of the ABC Affiliate Board, an organization that serves all 200 plus ABC affiliates across the country. He was also the President of the North Carolina Association of Broadcasters. Dave began his television career as a sales person for the NBC owned station in Chicago. He was then promoted to sales management positions at the NBC owned station in Cleveland.
Dave has a strong connection with Rentrak. At his direction, the Miami television station he managed was one of the first television stations to use Rentrak. The Miami market is one of the most fractionalized in the country as a result of the large Hispanic audience. He found both the quantitative and qualitative data Rentrak provides helped him grow his station's sales share.
Bill Engel is the chairman of Consumer Orbit, a consumer sciences practice located in Kansas City, Missouri, and is a board member of Rentrak (NASDAQ- RENT). Consumer Orbit is a leading aggregator of behavior-based consumer data and serves the Banking/Retail/E-Tail and CPG markets. He has over 40 years of experience in the media and marketing information industries and has been a pioneer in the use of transactions-based data. He co-holds a patent for the integration of disparate datasets.
Bill served as SVP of Innovation for the Marketing Services Group of Experian, Inc., a provider of information, analytical and marketing services worldwide, and was co-president of Experian’s subsidiary Experian Research Services. He served as Chairman and CEO of Simmons Market Research Bureau following its acquisition by Symmetrical Resources, which he co-founded in 1992, and was CEO of Simmons' joint venture with MasterCard International - TDS. Bill was a partner and EVP of Birch Scarborough Research. He held various executive positions with the Arbitron Company from the early 1970’s until 1978. Bill started his career at Southern Broadcasting Corporation in 1969.

Patricia Gottesman is a C-suite executive with expertise in digital media, analytics, marketing, operations and new product development. In addition to Rentrak, Ms. Gottesman serves on the Board of Directors of WWE (NYSE: WWE), a leading global sports entertainment company. She is a trustee for the Washington-based Committee for Economic Development (CED); and, chairs the Advisory Board of Ninah, the global management and analytics consulting unit of the Paris-based Publicis Groupe.
In 2011 and 2012, Ms. Gottesman served as President and CEO of Harvard University SaaS analytics start-up Crimson Hexagon. Ms. Gottesman and her team brought a significant funding round into the company, delivering the foundation for unparalleled growth. During this period, Crimson Hexagon was recognized as number seven on
Fast Company’s list of "The 10 Most Innovative Companies on the Web" (March 2011), quadrupled its global client base and secured a Fortune 500 top client list with an average market cap of more than $7 billion.
Prior to Crimson Hexagon, Ms. Gottesman held top P&L roles in product, marketing and brand strategy, business and operations at Cablevision—the fifth largest U.S. cable distributor, MSG owner and the creator of AMC Networks. She received the NCTA Vanguard Award; shared responsibility with the operating team for delivering a $6 billion annual consumer and SMB revenue budget; led the 120-member branding, marketing and product teams that developed and executed the cable industry’s Optimum branding and Triple Play acquisition strategy; was one of three inventors on an ad-tech cable patent; and, led the brand and product teams that won two NATAS Emmy Awards for digital interactive television.

Ms. MacDonald is a C-suite marketing executive with over 30 years' experience with global media agencies and Fortune 100 companies. Ms. MacDonald was Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for The Travelers Companies, Inc., from July 2009 to July 2011. Travelers offers a wide variety of property and casualty insurance and surety products in the United States and selected international markets. From November 2008 until July 2009, Ms. MacDonald provided independent marketing consulting services as a partner of The Rockefeller Consulting Group. Previously she served as President and Chief Marketing Officer of Macy's, Inc., which operates retail stores and Internet websites under the Macy’s and Bloomingdale’s brands, from 2006 to June 2007. Beginning in 1997, she served in various positions with Citigroup, Inc., a financial services company, including as Chief Marketing Officer for its consumer division from 2004 through 2006. From 1993 to 1997, Ms. MacDonald was Vice President of Marketing for Pizza Hut, then owned by PepsiCo. She began her career in marketing in 1980 at Grey Advertising, moving to the NW Ayer agency in 1983 until 1993 where she was a Managing Director and member of their Board. Ms. MacDonald served on the Board of Catalina Marketing from 2003, when it was a publicly traded company, until it was taken private in 2006. Catalina is a consumer data company delivering targeted sales, couponing, and loyalty programs. Ms. MacDonald also served as a director of SS+K Agency based in New York City, which provides consulting services in such areas as advertising, marketing, public relations and public affairs, from 2007 through 2009. Ms. MacDonald was elected as a director of Rentrak in August 2009.
Mr. O'Connor is the managing partner of O'Connor, Morss & O'Connor, P.C. in Union, New Jersey. His practice focuses on advising his clients and their business interests and family offices, regarding strategic planning, ownership and wealth management issues, with clients in the financial, real estate, entertainment, sport and agricultural sectors in the United States and abroad. Mr. O'Connor has been a director of Cinedigm Digital Cinema Corp., a pioneer in transforming movie theaters into digital and networked entertainment centers, since 2010. Mr. O'Connor is also a director of Digital Cinema Destinations Corp., a fast growing motion picture exhibitor dedicated to transforming movie theaters into digital entertainment centers, since 2010.
Mr. O'Connor also serves as a director of various closely-held companies, charitable organizations, foundations and professional boards. He was elected as a director of Rentrak in August 2010.
Mr. Shaw has been president of Shaw Management Company, an investment counseling firm located in Portland, Oregon, since 1980, and general partner of a succession of three venture capital funds beginning in 1983. Mr. Shaw is a trustee of the Tax-Free Trust of Oregon. From 1993 to 2011, Mr. Shaw served on the board of Schnitzer Steel Industries, Inc. and was a member of its audit, compensation and governance committees. Mr. Shaw served as an outside director of one of Rentrak’s subsidiaries from 2000 through 2003. He also served as an adviser to the Rentrak board from 2001 until his election as a director of Rentrak in 2004.
